Conceived by former Major Leaguer and current Rogues Director of Baseball Development Freddy Sandoval, Rogues Big League Camps take and apply philosophies, skills, and drills taken right from the Majors! Freddy will teach methods he learned and applied during his time playing with the Anaheim Angels, and implement the mental skills program he used with the Kansas City Royals leading them to a World Series Championship in 2015.

Joining Freddy in directing our Big League Camps this year is current Rogues Head Coach Sean Gallagher. Gallagher served time as an assistant associate scout in the Milwaukee Brewers organization before beginning his coaching career.

As a coach, Sean compiled a 106-37 record at Saint Mary's High School in Medford, Oregon. He was named Southern Cascade League Coach of the Year three times, and was named Oregon Athletic Coaches Association coach of the year in 2017 after leading the Crusaders to a state championship.

About Freddy..... A graduate of University of San Diego, Sandoval was drafted in 2004 in the 8th Round by the Anaheim Angels. During his time in the Angel’s farm system, he boasted an impressive list of accolades including being named team Captain, named to both mid and postseason All-star games, played in the Future’s Game and was recognized as Best Defensive Third Baseman two years in a row. Sandoval made his major league debut for the Angels in 2008 against the New York Yankees, and was subsequently awarded the Anaheim Angels Organizational Player of the Year. After retiring in 2011, he was named Mental Skills Coach for the Kansas City Royals Organization (which at that time was groundbreaking position that only a handful of other Major League Baseball teams employed) and was with the Royals for their 2014 ALCS and 2015 World Series victories. In 2016, Freddy left the Royals to spend more time with his family and to launch his business The Choice to Believe; offering professional coaching and consulting services specializing in mental skills and developing mind body connection.

About Sean..... Sean is a 1988 graduate of Goddard High School in New Mexico, where he was named 1st team all-state as a catcher. He is a former Division 1 player at New Mexico State. He served time as an assistant associate scout in the Milwaukee Brewers organization before beginning his coaching career. As a coach, Sean compliled a 106-37 record at Saint Mary's High School in Medford, Oregon. He was named Southern Cascade League Coach of the Year three times, and was named Oregon Athletic Coaches Association coach of the year in 2017 after leading the Crusaders to a state championship. In 2018 Sean spent time at Davis and Elkins University in West Virginia where he was tasked as the hitting and pitching coach for the Senators. Sean is the owner and operator of Gashouse, an indoor baseball facility in Southern Oregon.
