MEDFORD, Ore. – As the Rogues prepare for an opening day matchup against the Yuba City Bears on Tuesday, the organization has announced the addition of two more NCAA Division 1 players to appear on the 2017 roster. Jordan Ragan (University of California-Bakersfield) and Dante Gutierrez (University of San Diego) will play for the Rogues this summer.

Jordan Ragan -- Pitcher

With his sights set on a career at University of California-Bakersfield, Ragan is no stranger to southern Oregon having pitched for the Medford Mustangs and grown up in Medford. Ragan pitched for the College of Southern Idaho after transferring from Western Nevada College following his freshman season. In 2014, the southpaw posted a 1.39 ERA as he led North Medford H.S. to a 6A state championship.

Dante Gutierrez -- Catcher As a San Diego, California area native, Gutierrez will join the Rogues after his freshman season at the University of San Diego. Gutierrez appeared in 16 games for the Toreros getting 12 at-bats. Prior to USD, Gutierrez was an All-Eastern League selection as a junior when he hit .351 with four home runs while attending Saint Augustine High School.
