MEDFORD, Ore. – For the second night in a row, baseball fans at Harry & David Field were treated to extra baseball; and for the second night in a row, the Rogues (3-2) came up short in the 10th inning, 7-3 at the hands of the Chico Heat (4-1).

Heat Designated Hitter Bailey Zimmer drove in two runs, but it was the top of the order for the Heat that did the damage in the top of the 10th.  Tanner Tokunaga, Jake Davison, and Jake Rotteveel all came around to score in extras to give the Heat a commanding 7-3 lead, the eventual winning score.

The day after graduating from Ashland High School, Peyton Fuller (Oregon) made his first career start for the Medford Rogues and pitched six quality innings, giving up two earned runs and punching out two.

Voted Player of the Game, Josh Berman (Clark CC) accounted for all 3 Rogues runs, with two RBI and a run scored.
