LINCOLN, CA -- The Medford offense pounded 14 hits as the Rogues (7-5) evened the series with Lincoln (8-3) following a 9-4 win at McBean Memorial Park on Saturday night.

Back for another season with the Rogues, Jamie Flynn (Cornell) got his first start on the mound. Flynn commanded the strike zone over five innings of one-hit baseball. Flynn fanned seven Potters hitters and walked two.

“It’s been a long time since I’ve thrown five (innings) but the boys and the coaching staff had faith in me,” said Jamie Flynn. “It was a solid first (start) to build on.”

The Rogues had back to back singles from Jake Hellweg (Bethune Cookman) and Connor Lowrie (Blackhawk JC) in the third inning. Medford scored three runs in the third and sixth innings.

Davis Delorefice (Utah) hit a solo home run in the fifth inning for the Rogues, his first long ball of the season.

Alex Isola (Utah) went 3-5 with two runs scored. Dante Gutierrez (San Diego), Josh Berman (Clark CC) and Jaiden France (San Jose State) each recorded two hits apiece at the plate.

Every member of the Rogues batting lineup recorded a hit.
