Davis Delorefice (Utah) lead off the game for the Rogues with a home run.

MEDFORD, Ore. – The Medford Rogues (19-8) defeated the Marysville Gold Sox (9-17) 14-7 on Wednesday night at Harry & David Field.

On Rogue Credit Union Member Night, Davis Delorefice (Utah) lead off the game for the Rogues with a home run right at the Rogue Credit Union sign in left field. Delorefice wasn’t done, however. He would finish 3-5 with three runs, four RBI, a walk, and a triple.

Bryce Tilton (Western Oregon University) went 1-4 with four runs and an RBI. He also stole three bases.

Johnny DeLaCruz (Louisiana-Monroe) went 3-4 with four RBI and a run scored. In the 6^th inning, with the score tied 6-6, DeLaCruz singled up the middle, scoring Tilton and Delorefice. Delacruz then stole second, and advanced to third when the throw by Gold Sox catcher Tom Fuller sailed into center field. Sox center fielder Justin Cooney-Sylk’s throw into third got by Quinn Ayers, so Delacruz ran home on the play.

Dante Gutierrez (University of San Diego) pinch hit in the 7^th inning and tripled home Eric Yang (UC Santa Barbara), his second run scored of the game. Gutierrez would score later in the inning on a two RBI single by Delacruz. Gutierrez came up again in the

Central Point’s Chris Painter (Tennessee Wesleyan) earned his fourth win of the year; he pitched one inning and struck out one.

The Rogues will play in the final game of the three-game series against the Gold Sox on Thursday, June 28^th at 6:35pm, on Baywatch Night at Harry and David Field.
