MARYSVILLE, Ca. – The Medford Rogues (30-14) lost to the Marysville Gold Sox (18-28) 7-4 on Thursday night at Colusa Casino Stadium.

With Connor Lowrie (Blackhawk JC) at third, Braden Stutzman (Oregon) got caught in a pickle between first and second. Lowrie took off for home as Stutzman avoided the tag and slid in safely at second. Lowrie came in safely at home without a throw.

Davis Delorefice (Utah) led off the third inning with a walk. Alex Isola (Utah) hit a bloop single to centerfield to put the runners at the corners. Eric Yang (UC Santa Barbara) hit a three-run home run over the left field wall to put the Rogues up 4-1 in the third.

Stutzman made a terrific all-out diving catch in the left field foul territory, but the Gold Sox would answer with four later in the fourth inning.

Starting pitcher Jamie Flynn (Cornell) went just 3.2 innings, and takes the loss despite allowing just one earned run, the only earned run allowed by the Rogues.
