LINCOLN, Ca. – The Medford Rogues (38-16) fell to the Lincoln Potters (34-20) 3-1 on Sunday night at McBean Stadium.

The Rogues stung the ball all game long, but failed to string hits together.

Jayden Hanna (Lane CC) tripled with two outs in the third inning, but the Rogues were unable to bring him home.

Johnny DeLaCruz (Louisiana-Monroe) lead off the fourth inning with a double, and the Rogues loaded the bases later in the inning, but were kept off the board.

DeLaCruz and Jake Hellweg (Bethune Cookman) singled to lead off the seventh inning. Connor Lowrie (Blackhawk JC) bunted the runners over, and Josh Berman (Clark CC) grounded out to short to score DeLaCruz.

Davis Delorefice (Utah) singled with one out in the eighth, but Eric Yang (UC Santa Barbara)’s line drive went right into the glove of the Potters’ first baseman, who took one step to his left to touch the bag and double up Delorefice.

Starting pitcher Peyton Fuller (Oregon) went four and a third innings; he gave up two earned runs, struck out one, and walked none.
