Rogues Add 5 Talented New Additions to Roster

Medford, Oregon - The Rogues are pleased to announce today new player signings to the already stacked roster. Medford has signed two more players from University of California Santa Barbara and three players from UC Riverside to join the 15 players already on the roster.

“We have a great core of veteran returners coming back and we are excited about the talented new additions from all over the map. This club will gel very nicely and have strong mental toughness. Excited to get the ball rolling with this new team and new league,” says Head Coach Josh Hogan about the upcoming season with the team.

 Joe Record is a redshirt sophomore right handed pitcher at UC Santa Barbara. In high school, he played first base and pitcher at El Dorado High and was named Most Outstanding Pitcher during his time with the Hawks. So far this season for the Gauchos, he has thrown 13.1 innings, struck out 7 and has a 2.03 ERA.

Kevin Chandler is a freshman right handed pitcher at UC Santa Barbara. He pitched and played third base at Valencia High School During his senior season, he posted a 1.37 ERA with 62 strikeouts in 61 1/3 innings pitched. Chandler was a First Team All-Foothill League selection in 2015.


Jason Montville is a freshman lefty pitcher at UC Riverside. At Escondido High School, he was a  four-year letter winner and won the league championship during his sophomore and senior years. Montville was named Conference Player of the Year and to the All-League First Team his senior year and was also named Team MVP and the winner of the Team silver slugger award in 2015. Montville has pitched 2.2 innings for UC Riverside this season with 3 strikeouts.


Austin Colvin is a sophomore outfielder at UC Riverside from Lakewood, California. During his freshman campaign, he recorded nine multi-hit games and batted .269 for the year with 10 RBIs and 3 doubles.


Aaron Cisneros is a junior infielder at UC Riverside, from San Bernadino, California. At UC Riverside, he currently has a .286 average through the first 8 games of the 2016 season with 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 2 doubles.
