Rogues Pick Up Pritchard

MEDFORD, Or -- The Medford Rogues have signed Lane Pritchard from Dixie State for the 2019 season. 

Pritchard earned CCCAA all-Northern California honors as a sophomore after he batted .379 with 14 doubles, four triples and six home runs. He also finished with 45 RBI, 63 runs scored and went 13-for-14 in stolen base attempts, and captured CCCAA first team all-defense accolades.

At Red Bluff High School, Pritchard was a two-time league MVP and three-time all-section in baseball for the Spartans. He also lettered in football and basketball and was a multiple time all-section pick in each sport. His favorite teams are the San Francisco Giants, the San Francisco 49ers and the Sacramento Kings, and his favorite player is Javy Baez. Pritchard is currently majoring in psychology.

The Golden State Collegiate Baseball League is a 8-team, wooden bat collegiate summer baseball league founded in 2012. The GSCBL is a showcase for top college-level players, giving professional baseball scouts a chance to see prospective pros playing against each other.

The GSCBL brings highly competitive collegiate baseball to mid-sized communities throughout the West while featuring affordable family entertainment. The GSCBL will have franchises in California (Alameda, Petaluma, Sacramento, San Jose, San Francisco, Yuba-Sutter), Nevada (Reno) and Oregon (Medford). These franchises are the backbone of the Golden State League and its foundation now and in the future. All teams affiliated with the GSCBL showcase some of the top talent in the country.
