Mendazona Signs with Rogues

MEDFORD, Or. -- The Medford Rogues have signed infielder Peter Mendazona from Feather River College for the 2019 season.

Mendazona led his Golden Eagles team in at-bats and was second on the team in doubles (11) and RBI (45) while batting .342 in 43 games. He was also 10-11 in stolen base attempts. The Monmouth, Oregon native was named to the Golden Valley Conference All-Conference First Team this season as a freshman.

He joins his Feather River teammates Trae Perkins and Sebasten Boivin on the Rogues 2019 roster.

These franchises are the backbone of the Golden State League and its foundation now and in the future. All teams affiliated with the GSCBL showcase some of the top talent in the country.
