Rogues Finish Record Breaking Season

Medford, Oregon - The Medford Rogues in their 4th season, 1st in the Great West League, finished another exciting season with the best record in the league and a trip to the GWL Championship.

As a team, the Rogues won a record number of 40 wins and also recorded the longest win streak in franchise history, with 13 games. Medford hit a team best, 20 triples.

The Medford Rogues pitching staff struck out 359 batters this season with Kyle Robeniol (University of Oregon), leaving his name in the record books, striking out a franchise-high 52 batters.

Derron Davis (Colorado State - Pueblo) played in a franchise-high 53 regular season games and has played for a lifetime high of 100 games. Davis also set a new record of 209 at-bats and a lifetime amount of 394 at-bats. He also scored a franchise record of 40 runs in season and now has a lifetime record of 78 runs scored for the Rogues.

Spencer Steer (University of Oregon) had a great season at the plate for Medford. He leaves his name in the record book twice, with doubles (17) and triples (4).

Brock Pradere (Western Oregon University) set a league and franchise record with stolen bases (24), he was only caught stealing once.

In front of 38,377 fans (30% increase from 2015), the Rogues finished with an overall regular season record of 40-17. The Rogues finished atop the Great West League and faced the Chico Heat in the GWL Championship Series. The Medford Rogues also had the most ambitious promotional schedule setting league records in most jersey nights, colored bases and theme nights.
