MEDFORD, Ore. – The Medford Rogues (19-6) continued their winning ways against Marysville (9-16), topping the Gold Sox, 12-8 on Tuesday night at Harry & David Field.

Medford came out swinging in the first two innings building a 9-1 lead after two innings of play.

Jake Hellweg (Bethune Cookman) and Johnny DeLaCruz (UL-Monroe) paced the Rogues offense with three-hit performances. DeLaCruz had a four RBI night with a triple while both DeLaCruz and Hellweg combined for five runs scored.

The Rogues had 14 hits as a team sparked by a 2-4 night from David Delorefice (Utah). Delorefice also scored two runs and a stolen base.

Jamie Flynn (Cornell) used the early run support to his advantage by tossing six innings of two-hit baseball, surrendering two earned runs while striking out five batters. Flynn (2-0) worked out of a bases loaded jam in the sixth, striking out back-to-back batters to end the innings.
