Rogues and Community Help Fight Breast Cancer

MEDFORD, OR:  The Medford Rogues and The Leila J. Eisenstein Breast Center are pleased to announce that a total of $3,500.00 was raised through the sale of Rogues Paint the Park Pink jerseys, ticket sales, 50/50 raffle sales, yoga and other donations on Saturday, July 7th against the Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox.

$2,960 was raised in jersey sales, and an additional $140 was raised in ticket sales. Those who wore pink to Saturday's game recieved a discounted price on bleacher tickets, half of the sales benefited the Leila J. Eisenstein Breast Center. 

The Medford Rogues, the Leila J. Eisenstein Breast Center, and Rasa Yoga Center teamed up for Yoga on the Field Saturday morning. Rogues players and members of the community came out to Harry and David Field for an hour long yoga session. 

The Leila J Eisenstein Breast Center also hosted a 50/50 raffle during the game. $381 was raised from Yoga on the Field, the 50/50 raffle and other donations.

Paint the Park Pink aims to support breast cancer research, and breast cancer survivors. All proceeds from Paint the Park Pink's jersey auctions directly benefit the Leila J Eisenstein Breast Center. The Leila J. Eisenstein Breast Center at Providence Medford Medical Center provides women in southern Oregon with access to the most advanced screening and diagnostic technology available for breast cancer detection and bone density screening, as well as high risk assessment, counseling and support services.
