Rogues Add Another Super Utility Player

MEDFORD, Or. -- The Medford Rogues have signed pitcher Colton Harris from Dixie State University (Utah) for the 2019 season.

Prior to Dixie State, Harris began at Yakima Valley Community College, where he made 14 total appearances out of the bullpen over the course of two seasons. Harris posted a 1-0 career record with 14 total strikeouts in 22.2 innings pitched. He was also part of the NWAC East Divison title-winning team.

At the plate in 2018, Harris finished 40 RBI and six home runs. With 160 at-bats, Harris capitalized with 50 hits to bring his season average to .313.

Harris graduated from Murray High School, where he earned two varsity letters in baseball, helped the Spartans to a 2016 region championship, and collected All-State honorable mention accolades.

Harris’s parents are Reggie and Shauna Harris. His favorite team is the Yankees, and his favorite player is Bryce Harper.

The Golden State Collegiate Baseball League is a 8-team, wooden bat collegiate summer baseball league founded in 2012. The GSCBL is a showcase for top college-level players, giving professional baseball scouts a chance to see prospective pros playing against each other.

The GSCBL brings highly competitive collegiate baseball to mid-sized communities throughout the West while featuring affordable family entertainment. The GSCBL will have franchises in California (Alameda, Petaluma, Sacramento, San Jose, San Francisco, Yuba-Sutter), Nevada (Reno) and Oregon (Medford). These franchises are the backbone of the Golden State League and its foundation now and in the future. All teams affiliated with the GSCBL showcase some of the top talent in the country.
