MARYSVILLE, CA -- The Medford Rogues (3-4) fell in extras to the Yuba City Bears (2-4) 8-7 in ten innings at Colusa Casino Stadium on Monday night.

Bears Designated Hitter Logan Wurm hit a homerun over the left field wall in the second inning. Wurm hit a two RBI double in the eighth to begin a rally for the Bears and the next batter T.J. Dove hit the game-tying two RBI double, who later scored the winning run in the 10th.

The Rogues did most of their damage in the 5th inning. Two walks and a single loaded the bases for Connor Lowrie. Lowrie (Blackhawk JC) had two doubles and four RBI tonight, but the Rogues as a team could not come up with the hits when they needed it the most. Medford had the bases loaded and 1 out in both the 9th and 10th innings and failed to bring a runner home.

Extra innings continue to be unkind for Medford. The Rogues are 0-3 in extras on the season. After a hot start to the season, the Rogues find themselves in the midst of a four-game skid.
