MEDFORD, Ore. -- The Medford Rogues (11-5) defeat the Lincoln Potters (10-6) by a score of 4-3 on Friday night at Harry & David Field.

 

Cole Percival (Cal State Riverside) made his Rogues debut, pitching five innings and giving up three earned runs while striking out five. The bullpen backed him up; the Rogues staff had eleven combined strikeouts. Aaron Hutchinson (Lane CC) was the winning pitcher, and Brady Smith (Cal State San Marcos) picked up the save.

 

Clay Valenzuela-Reece (Campbellsville) was named Player of the Game, collecting two hits and an R.B.I., extending his hitting streak to 12 games.

 

Potters pitcher Kenneth Pettibone suffers his first loss and first earned runs of the season.
