MEDFORD, Ore. -- The Medford Rogues (12-5) defeat the Lincoln Potters (10-7) 9-3 on Saturday Night at Harry & David Field on Star Wars Night.

The game was tied going into the bottom of the eighth, 3-3. The Rogues had scrapped runs in the second, third, and fifth innings. The Potters did all their damage in the third inning. Davis Delorefice (Utah), Clay Valenzuela-Reece (Campbellsville), and Bryce Tilton (Western Oregon) all singled to load the bases.

Alex Isola (Utah), the hero from Superhero Night, hit a sac fly to bring in the tie-breaking run. Josh Berman (Clark CC) was intentionally walked. With the bases loaded, Connor Lowrie (Blackhawk) hit a sky high shallow pop fly that was dropped by the second basemen Cameron Castaneda. Errant throws by the Potters infield cleared the bases and brought Lowrie to third. Lowrie and Jayden Hanna (Lane CC) would score later in the inning, bringing the score to 9-3, the eventual final score.

Clay Valenzuela-Reece extends his hitting streak to 13 games.
