Rogues Take Game Two From Stealth

Medford, Oregon - The Medford Rogues and Sacramento Stealth faced off in game two tonight at Harry and David Field after the Rogues took game two last night. Backed by 17 hits, the Rogues beat the Stealth 11-3. The Rogues are now 35-12 overall and still are #1 in the Great West League.

Each team plated a run in the first inning and it was a tied ballgame heading into the fourth inning. Braden Stutzman reached on a leadoff double and then was brought in by an RBI single by Connor McNally. The Stealth tied the game off an RBI double by Dylan Wright but the Rogues kept scoring. Medford had a 3-run sixth inning thanks to a 2-run double by Brock Pradere and then a double by Johnny Delacruz. Then in the eighth, Rogues scored 5 more runs with RBIs by Derron Davis, Jaden Hanna, Delacruz and then a 2-run double by Parker Kelly. Medford held on to 11-3 win for game two.

At the plate, Brock Pradere went 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs, 2 runs scored and 2 more stolen bases. Connor McNally went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored as well improving his batting average to .258. Johnny Delacruz also had a strong night going 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored and now has a healthy .280 batting average.

DJ Wilson earned his 9th start of the season and pitched the first five innings giving up two runs on 5 hits. He struck out three and did not walk a batter. Wilson now has a 2.70 ERA. Trenton Stoltz came in relief and pitched the final 4 innings, giving up 1 run on 4 hits. He walked one and struck out one now with a 5.25 ERA.

The Rogues go for the sweep tomorrow night at 7:05pm at Harry and David Field. The Rogues are pairing up with Southern Oregon Humane Society for Bark in the Park. Bleacher tickets are just $2 courtesy of Petro and tickets for the dogs will be a $5 donation to SO Humane.
