Rogues Add Local Talent to 2017 Team

The Medford Rogues are excited to announce today, the signing of three local standouts to their 2017 roster. Dylan Pearce and Chris Painter, both 2016 Rogues and Crater High School graduates will be on the mound this season in addition to Ryan Carle, a graduate of South Medford High School.

 
Dylan Pearce - Right-Handed Pitcher
Pearce is a Crater High School graduate and currently attends Southwestern Oregon Community College. For the Rogues in 2016, Dylan pitched 59.2 innings, striking out 58, walking 22 and giving up 47 hits. He finished the regular season with a 2.30 ERA. On National Signing Day, he signed with Oregon State University and will be on their baseball team beginning in the 2017-2018 season.
 
Chris Painter - Left-Handed Pitcher
Painter is also a Crater High School graduate and is a junior at Tennessee Wesleyan University. He was on the mound for the Rogues in 2016 and threw 17.2 innings. He finished the season with a 0-1 record, striking out 6, walking 4 and giving up 19 hits.
 
Ryan Carle - Left-Handed Pitcher
Carle is a South Medford product and son of assistant baseball coach at South, Scott Carle. Carle is currently a sophomore at Pacific University. Ryan was a three-year letterwinner at South Medford and earned all-conference honors as a junior (utility player, second team) and as a senior (pitcher, honorable mention).
