Rogues Add Depth to 2017 Roster

The Medford Rogues announce today, the signing of three players to the 2017 roster. Scotty Wright (Colorado Christian) and Jake Gozzo (Orange Coast College) will handle infield duties with extra responsibilities for Wright on the mound. Mancino will be a high-powered arm in the Rogues’ pitching staff.

 
Matt Mancino - Right-handed Pitcher
Mancino is a high school senior who will be attending, and playing for Clemson University in the fall. He is from Larchmont, NY and will graduate from The Chesire Academy. Mancino has a fastball that can reach 97mph and averages 87mph.
 
Scotty Wright - Infielder/Pitcher
Wright is a Junior at Colorado Christian University. So far this season for the Cougars, Wright has pitched 2.2 innings and has not given up a hit. He has struck out 7, has walked 2 and has a 0.00 ERA. Previously, Wright attended the University of North Florida.
 
Jake Gozzo - Infielder
Gozzo is a sophomore at Orange Coast College and graduated from Redlands East Valley High School. This season for Orange Coast, he has a .219 batting average through 11 games with 2 home runs, 9 RBI and 9 runs.
