May 8, 2021 – Medford, OR: Please welcome to Medford....Mike Lavigne from Linfield University! Mike is a freshman infielder from Colfax, California who is majoring in Exercise Science and Sports Management.
In high school he was a four-time letter winner in baseball and basketball and played football and had a career .389 batting average. In 2019, he was an All-Metro area selection and named to the first-team all-Pioneer Valley. Rogues associate head coach Parker Berberet- "Mike Lavigne is a talented freshman from Linfield University who can swing it! He has played every game as a freshman and performed well defensively and offensively. I’m excited to see him play this summer." He has started all 36 games this season, and is hitting .298 which is third on the team and is second in hits (37) and total bases (49).
