MEDFORD, Ore. – The Medford Rogues (9-0) defeated the San Francisco Seagulls (4-3) 11-1 on Saturday night at Harry & David Field. After breaking the record for best start to a season, the 2019 Rogues are in the midst of their longest winning streak in franchise history.

Donut Country provided the donuts and the Rogues batters provided the runs on Donut Appreciation Night, the first themed jersey night of the year. Fans were treated to donuts as they entered the ballpark and had the opportunity to catch even more donuts that were launched into the stands. Rogues fans bid on the donut jerseys during the game to raise money for the Rogue Valley Timbers, a local youth soccer non-profit organization.

Brice Foster (Menlo College) picked up his Golden State Collegiate Baseball League-leading third Win after pitching six innings of one-run baseball in the start.

Omar Ortiz (Vanguard University) led off the bottom of the second inning with a double to the deepest part of the ballpark (407ft to left center), which kicked off a six-run inning for the Rogues.

Joe Johnson (Vanguard University) hit his first home run of the year at home, a solo shot to right field.

The Rogues will look to complete their third straight series sweep tomorrow evening on Fred Meyer Family Fun Sunday. Fred Meyer members can pick up the Fred Meyer Family Fun Pack, which contains four tickets, four hot dogs, and four sodas for just $44, at the Medford Rogues Box Office. For each Fred Meyer Family Fun Day ticket package sold, the Rogues will donate $4 to Access, as part of the 0 Waste, 0 Hunger campaign.

After this four-game series concludes with the Seagulls, the Rogues will welcome the Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox back to Harry & David Field for a three-game series before hosting the Reno Rams for a four-game weekend series. Tickets are available online at MedfordRogues.com
