ALAMEDA, Ca. – The Medford Rogues (20-4) fell to Top Speed Baseball (18-4) 13-1 in game two of a doubleheader at Pat Bail Field on Wednesday night.

Turner Olson (Chico State) made a fantastic diving grab in right field on the first ball put in play by Top Speed, a screaming liner off the bat of Garrett McCarthy.

Just like in game one of the doubleheader, the Rogues found themselves down early. Just like in game one, Top Speed put together a two-out rally to plate five in the early innings, in game one, it was inning one; in game two, it was inning two. But the Rogues would not have an answer in game two.

The Rogues brought their only run home when Olson (Chico State) doubled down the first base line to score Johnny Radomskiy (Presentation College) in the fifth inning.

After the road trip, the Rogues will host the Redding Ringtails, a semi-pro team from northern California for a two-game series starting Tuesday, July 2nd. Tuesday, July 2nd is Red, White, and Blue Night at Harry & David Field, featuring the largest post-game fireworks show in Medford Rogues history.
