The Medford Rogues completed the sweep of the Lodi Crushers with an 8-0 shutout. Between strong pitching and solid hitting, the every Medford batter reached base at least once and the Crushers only were able to connect for 5 hits.

Rogues scoring started early in the third inning with a lead off single by Derron Davis who was then joined on the basepath by Connor McNally, reaching on an error by the Lodi firstbaseman. They were both brought in with a 2-RBI single by Cam Russ. Scoring continued in the fourth with two more runs and one run in the sixth. The point of no return for the Crushers was in the eighth when three more runs crossed the plate, mostly because of walks and errors. Jared Denning brought in two of those runs with a 2-RBI single.

Reece Green got the start for the Rogues, his first of the summer. Green went 7 innings, giving up just 3 hits and no runs. Green struck out one and walked one batter. Green only threw 60 pitches through the 7 innings. Bryon Foust came in for the eighth inning and walked one batter, but gave up no runs and no hits. Dylan Pierce pitched the ninth, gave up two hits but struck out the final batter for the final out.

Rogues bats were hot tonight and so was the baseruning. Derron Davis went 2-for-5 with two singles, a run scored and a stolen base. Connor McNally reached base on three seperate errors but then stole three bases with ease. Cam Russ was responsible with two of the runs with a 2-RBI single in the third.
