Medford gets another W in the WIN column against the Studs

MEDFORD, ORE — The Medford Rogues picked up their second win of the 2026 season, beating the Seattle Studs 8-3 on Saturday night for Country Night.
The fans at Harry and David Field were treated to a pregame concert by the Cody Ponder Band while the Rogues took in batting practice.
The Seattle Studs plated one run in the first inning with the RBI groundout from catcher Kai Halstead.
In the bottom of that inning, the Rogues swung the bats early with a double from Johnathan Walsh to lead off the inning. Larsen Koester drew a walk and Kian Sanchez singled to load the bases.
The next batter, Chris Ortiz, drove in Johnathan Walsh from third to tie the game at one. Rogues drove in the next two runs from Jaden Neugebauer.
Rogues plated three more runs in the fifth and one more in the eighth inning.
Medford Rogues used three pitchers last night. Herman Luna got the start on the bump, going six innings and gave up only two runs. Wyatt Green came out of the pen struck out five Stud batters and gave up one hit.
Dez Ralls got the nod for the ninth only giving up one run but struck out two batters.
Medford looks for the series victory today at 1:05 p.m. against Seattle.
