Medford, Oregon — The Medford Rogues keep their winning ways going with a 7-6 walk-off win against the Healdsburg Prune Packers. The Rogues got the evening under way with a solo home run from Jonathan Walsh to make it a 1-0 lead for the Rogues. It was Walsh’s first home run of the season. Healdsburg struck back, scoring twice in the second inning. Rogues answered back with two of their own from Evan Saito. The Prune Packers scored two more times in the fourth. Rogues answered back with an RBI Triple from Quinton Olson and an RBI groundout from Larsen Koester. The offense got moving again by the Prune Packers with a solo shot from Jake McCoy. The Prune Packers responded with an RBI Single from Trevian Martinez to tie the game up at 6 in the ninth inning. Diego Grabiel led off the ninth inning with a single. Grabiel got to second base on a baulk. Larsen Koester walked it off on a single to walk it off for the second time this season. The Rogues veteran Dylan Fanelli got the start, going four innings, giving up four runs and striking out one batter. Will Salihar, Evan Rhoden, and Caleb Randolph (W 2-0) came out of the pen to shut the door on Healdsburg (click here for roster).
