Luna’s 8-Inning Gem Spoiled by Late Healdsburg Homers

 

Healdsburg takes game two (win 4-0) of the weekend series to force the rubber game

Medford, Ore — The Rogues drop game two of the series to Healdsburg 4-0. It was a game that went an hour and 58 minutes on Saturday night. It was a pitching duel between Medford’s starter Herman Luna and the Healdsburg starter Chandler Day. Day went six innings and Luna went eight innings. It was a defensive battle throughout the whole entire game until the seventh inning when the Prune Packers third baseman JC Osorio Agard went deep to break the ice on the game. Another run came across for the Prune Packers in the inning. In the next inning, the Prune Packers struck again with a two run homer by Osorio Agard. It was a 4-0 lead for Healdsburg and they held on to take game two. Herman Luna got the start for the Rogues going eight innings striking out two but gave up all four runs. Medford and Healdsburg clash for the rubber game at 1:05 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
