Early Deficit and Lab Reliever Stall Rogues in 7-4 Series-Opening Loss

Medford, OR — The Rogues drop game one of the series against the Lydo’s Lab 7-4. The Lab struck first putting up a four spot in the first inning. The Rogues struck back with a run in the same inning with a sac fly from Chanz Flores who drove in Logan MacyRogues scored two more times in the second inning on a RBI single from Diego Grabiel and a passed ball scored another run. Lydo’s Lab scored once in the fifth and two more times in the sixth inning. Rogues were kept in check by the reliever Kevin Carrieri, who went four innings and struck out four batters. Rogues scored a run in the ninth inning off a passed ball, driving in Anthony Thomas Jr.  Rogues sent five arms out tonight in the game. Aden Bowman got the start and went three innings, giving up four runs. Bowman struck out one batter. Jaden Neugebauer, Dez Ralls, Preston Daniels, and newcomer Ethan Swenson came out of the pen. Swenson in his debut, went one inning, giving up two hits but recorded three outs with the strikeout.
