Solano Mudcats dominate Medford Rogues to extend losing streak to four

Medford, Ore — The Medford Rogues drop the second game of the series against the Solano Mudcats 11-2 on Saturday night. The Rogues are on a four game losing streak. The Rogues gave up a three-spot in the first inning to the Mudcats. Medford got the offense going in the fifth inning with an RBI groundout from Jonathan Walsh, driving in Evan Saito. Rogues gave up seven runs in the seventh and eighth innings. Rogues found their offense again in the bottom of that inning with an RBI Single from Chris Ortiz. Rogues pitching had a somewhat better night on the hill. Evan Rhoden got the start, going six innings, striking out five Solano batters. Wyatt Green, Preston Daniels, Eric Hernandez, and Caleb Randolph saw time out of the pen as well. Medford and Solano face off in a doubleheader starting at 3:35 p.m. for Father’s Day.
