Medford keeps their winning ways going on Thursday, with a 7-3 victory over the CCL Showcase All Stars

Medford, Ore — The Medford Rogues improve to 8-1 on the 2026 season after a 7-3 win against the Cascade Collegiate League (CCL) ShowcaseThe CCL Showcase got the scoring going with a two run single from Aiden Birchard in the third inning. Rogues plated two runs to tie the game in the bottom of the third. Jonathan Walsh drove in the first run of the game for Medford.  The CCL Showcase tacked on a run in the top of the fourth. In the bottom of the inning, Jackson Rosenthal went deep for the first time this season to tie the game at three. It was tied at three in the fifth and sixth innings. The Rogues drove in a run from a pinch at bat from Larsen Koester. Diego Gabriel got across on the double steal. Medford plated two more insurance runs to get across the finish line. The Rogues pitching staff had their moments throughout the game on Thursday. Dylan Fanelli went 6.0 innings, striking out three batters and issuing four walks. Lorenzo Lew went two innings and struck out 4 CCL Showcase batters. Caleb Randolph got the nod and shut the door on the CCL Showcase in the ninth inning. Medford welcomes in the Fresno A’s for the first game of a three-game set. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. Tomorrow is the second fireworks show of the season sponsored by Chick-Fil-A Medford.
