Medford takes game one of the series against Redmond, 12-2

Medford, Ore — The Medford Rogues take game one of the series against the Redmond Dudes 12-2  on Friday night in front of 1,421 fans. The Rogues racked up 12 runs on 14 hits in the win at home. It was the first fireworks show of the season at the ballpark. The Dudes plated two runs in the first inning and Medford answered back with two runs in the home first. The Rogues got the offense going with two runs in the home second, with Beau Blake going yard for the first time this season. Rogues plated a run in the third inning as well. Medford scored five runs in three innings. The Rogues plated a run in the sixth and seventh. In the home eighth, the Rogues put up a five-spot in the inning. Beau Blake went yard again in the inning. The pitching staff kept the Dudes’ batters in check. Dylan Fanelli, Wyatt Green, and Dez Ralls combined for 11 strikeouts. Fanelli went 5.1 innings on the hill, striking out four batters. Green went 1.2 innings striking out four as well. Ralls struck out three. Medford looks for the series win tomorrow at 6:35 p.m. for First Responders Night by Mercy Flights.
