Rogues Route Potters 14-3 to Secure Series, Fueled by Sanchez’s Stellar Night

Medford, OR – The Medford Rogues secure the series against the Pacific Empire League rivals the Lincoln Potters 14-3 on Wednesday night in Medford. The Rogues right out of the gate got the offense moving with a two-run single from catcher Chris OrtizMedford followed up, plating five runs in the second inning. Will Salihar drove in three runs with one swing of the bat. Rogues scored another run in the third inning on a sac fly from Max ShabestariThe Rogues offense scored four more times in the fourth inning. Kian Sanchez recorded an RBI single.  Jackson Rosenthal and Travis Finney each hit an RBI double. Rogues offense capitalized again on a two-run shot from Kian Sanchez. That was his first home run of the season. With the series against the Potters, the Rogues are 7-4 and are in third place in the league. The winning pitcher went to Forest Zelmer. He recorded his fourth win of the season. He went five innings on the hill and struck out three batters. Kian Sanchez is the player of the game for the second night, reaching on base all five times.
