Healdsburg, CA — The Medford Rogues struggled on Wednesday evening and fell to the Healdsburg Prune Packers 7-2. Healdsburg takes the season series four games to one. The Rogues offense was shut out the night earlier. The Rogues got base runners on at first and second in the first inning but could not get a run across. Healdsburg got the offense moving with an leadoff homerun from Manteca Ca/Costal Carolina Rex Watson in the first. Healdsburg followed up with a four-spot in the third inning. The highlight of the inning was when JC Osario Agard went deep with a three-run home run. Medford’s pitching staff kept the Prune Packers batters in check through the middle innings. Rogues got their first run across in the series and in the road trip from Anthony Thomas Jr in the sixth inning on an RBI single. In the next inning, Chris Ortiz recorded an RBI single that drove in Will Salihar. Healdsburg plated two more runs in the bottom of the seventh on a two run double from Osario Agard. The Rogues pitching staff used four arms. RHP Tyler Wilson got the start going two innings.
