MEDFORD, OR: The Medford Rogues have announced today the release their Season Schedule and Promotional Schedule for the 2019 season.
The Rogues will have 33 home games, including one home series against each of the other seven teams in the Golden State Collegiate Baseball League (GSCBL). With a total of 10 different teams making their way to our beloved Harry and David field, fans will have the opportunity to see hundreds of high caliber collegiate athletes from across America play in Medford this summer, all while enjoying a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.
The GSCBL is a showcase for top college-level player who are playing to showcase their talents to MLB baseball scouts with the hope of becoming a professional athlete. The GSCBL features franchises in California (Alameda, Petaluma, Sacramento, San Jose, San Francisco, Yuba-Sutter), Nevada (Reno), and Oregon (Medford).
“We are so excited to be bringing even more baseball to the Rogue Valley this summer. Our 33-game home schedule is the most in Rogues history,” said General Manager Dave May. “Our season ticket holders got a terrific value this year. They’re getting three additional games at no extra cost.”
In conjunction with the 2019 Season Schedule, the Rogues have also released their Promotional Schedule for the 2019 season. This year’s promotional schedule is highlighted by four themed jersey nights, ten giveaways, a fireworks night, a post-game Fogline concert, a Diamond Dig, and features a special event or promotion for every single home game.
“We received a ton of feedback from our fans this past offseason, and we listened,” said May. “Our most popular events, Country Night with the post-game Fogline concert, Military Appreciation Night, Paint the Park Pink Night, Bark in the Park, and Red, White, and Blue night with post-game fireworks will all be returning this year. We’re also bringing back the fan-favorite Diamond Dig and launching a brand new Themed Jersey Promotion: Donut Appreciation Night.”
