MEDFORD, Or -- The Medford Rogues have signed Medford native Jordan Ragan for the 2019 season. Ragan played for the 2017 Rogues Championship team and helped North Medford win the 2014 Oregon 6A State Championship.

Ragan had a 0.60 ERA in 15 innings pitched for the Rogues in 2017, including a gem against the Yuba City Bears. Ragan struck out six and allowed just one unearned run in 8.1 innings pitched and picked up the win in the 7-1 victory.

"I'm very excited to stay home and to get back on the mound and be able to throw again in my hometown," said Ragan. "I'm also very grateful that I have an opportunity to play summer baseball after not pitching since March of 2018."

Ragan played two seasons at College of Southern Idaho before the injury. As a sophomore, he recorded 24 strikeouts in 38.2 innings of work and two wins as a reliever for CSI before transferring to California State Bakersfield.
