Rogues Add Arms to Pitching Staff Nick Parr (WOU) & Connor Konishi (Helix H.S./CA) have been added to the 2017 Rogues roster. Article By: MEDFORD, Ore. – With opening day right around the corner, the Medford Rogues are excited to welcome two new pitchers to the organization. Connor Konishi (Helix H.S./CA) and Nick Parr (Western Oregon) will add depth to a reigning league-best pitching staff. Connor Konishi -- Pitcher Konishi will prep for a collegiate career with San Jose State by joining the Rogues as a two-way player. In addition to innings on the mound, Konishi is expected to see time in the outfield. The Helix High School senior left-hander is a top 20 pitcher in the state of California according to Perfect Game. Konishi is hitting over .350 with nearly 20 hits and 10 RBI in his final season with the Highlanders. Nick Parr -- Pitcher A product of Las Vegas, Nevada, Nick Parr comes to southern Oregon having been a member of GNAC powerhouse, Western Oregon University. Parr, a freshman with the Wolves, was a highly-touted right-hander during his career at Shadow Ridge High School. MaxPreps had Parr noted as a top-10 pitcher in Nevada during his 2015-2016 senior season. Don’t miss any of the action this summer!
