Rogues Charge the Battery Adding D1 Catchers Alex Isola (Utah) & Eric Yang (UC-Santa Barbara) will join the Rogues this upcoming season. Article By: MEDFORD, Ore. – The Medford Rogues are pleased to announce the addition of two new catchers to the organization. Eric Yang (UC-Santa Barbara) and Alex Isola (Utah) will join the catching rotation as the Rogues enter their second season in the Great West League. Eric Yang -- Catcher Yang comes to the Medford Rogues having spent his freshman collegiate season with UC-Santa Barbara of the Big West Conference. Prior to his commitment to play for the Gauchos, Yang played three varsity seasons at El Camino Real Charter High School in West Hills, California. Yang earned team MVP honors in 2015 and 2016. He also was a three-time All-West Valley League First Team selection. Alex Isola -- Catcher A product of Lincoln, California, Isola joins the Rogues following his freshman season at the University of Utah. Isola has started five games and is hitting .222 with 4 RBI. While at Jesuit High School (CA), Isola earned first-team Sacramento Bee All-Metro and first-team MaxPreps California Large Schools All-State and Cal-Hi Sports Elite Team.
