Today the Medford Rogues are excited to announce the hiring of Nate Esposito as the franchises next head coach. Nate joins the Rogues after spending last summer on the coaching staff of the Rogues archrival the Lincoln Potters.
Currently coach Esposito is an Undergraduate Assistant at Oregon State University where he works with catchers and is the team's first base coach.
Esposito hails from Granite Bay California. As a player Nate played at Oregon State University, Concordia University (Portland), and in the Kansas City Royals organization reaching triple A. He was voted by his professional teammates as most likely to manage in professional baseball.
"I am excited to bring my coaching enthusiasm to the city of Medford. Having experienced memorable moments in collegiate summer baseball, it's a privilege to be part of the journey for these young men. Grateful for the opportunity and eager to hit the field. Go Rogues!"
"This is a fantastic hire and a great day to be a Rogues fan!" Dave May, Rogues team president said. May continued on by saying "we are extremely fortunate to have someone of Nate's caliber leading our athletes this upcoming summer."
